Marie is currently acquiring a bachelor’s degree at the Faculty of Law of the University of Tartu. Before joining NJORD, Marie completed an internship at the Southern District Prosecutor’s Office. After that, Marie studied in Brussels for a semester at Université Libre de Bruxelles as part of the Erasmus+ program, where her studies focused on European Union and international law. Marie is also a member of ELSA (European Law Students Association). At NJORD, Marie mostly works in the field of IT law and data protection. Marie also assists the consumer protection working group with retail compliance issues, as well as lawyers in other fields.
